What's mine and what isn't

When I take a photo or make a recording, I own that photo or recording, but not the things in it. Here's where the line is.

What I claim as mine

Unless a page says otherwise, these are my own work, and the copyright is mine (© William Chrapcynski):

• My photos and videos, including those of places, events, and things I don't own.
• My audio recordings and sound libraries: I recorded the sounds myself, and the recordings, edits, and instruments I made from them are mine.
• My writing, code, and designs: the text on this site, and the code, circuits, 3D models, and other designs I created myself.
• This site itself: its design, its logo, and its look.

Please don't reuse, repost, or sell any of it without asking. Products from the Shop come with their own license, shown on each product's page, and that license is what applies to them.

What I don't claim

I don't own, and don't claim any rights to:

• What appears in my photos, videos, and recordings: characters, costumes, attractions, rides, shows, performances, buildings, artwork, decorations, products, machines, and other designs. These belong to their owners. For example, a photo of a Disney parade is my photo, but the parade, its characters, and its floats belong to Disney. A recording of a pinball machine is my recording, but the machine, its design, and its name belong to their owners.
• Trademarks: company names, product names, logos, and brands. They appear here only to identify and describe what's in my work, and that doesn't mean any relationship with, or endorsement by, their owners.
• Other people's work that I use or build on, such as 3D models, code, samples, fonts, music, or designs. Where I use someone else's work, I credit it and follow its license. It still belongs to its creator, and its license, not mine, says how you can use it.
• Content shown from other services, such as embedded videos, product details, or anything made by someone else. It belongs to whoever made it.

My photos and videos of places and events are my own personal record of my visits, shared to document and comment on them. They're not official images, and they're not offered for sale unless a page clearly says so.

People in photos and videos

Photos and videos taken in public places and at events may include other visitors, performers, or staff. If you're in one and would like it removed or blurred, let me know and I'll take care of it.

Reviews, opinions, and sponsorships

Opinions on this site are my own. They don't represent any employer, client, or company, past or present, and any mention of a product or service is my own honest view.

I'm not paid by, and don't get free products from, the companies that appear here. If that ever changes, such as a sponsorship, a free product, or an affiliate link that earns me a commission, I'll say so clearly on that page.

Projects and how-tos: at your own risk

My electronics, 3D printing, coding, and other project write-ups are shared for information and fun. They aren't professional advice or instructions, and I can't guarantee they're complete, accurate, up to date, or safe for your situation. Working with electricity, batteries, tools, heat, chemicals, and materials can be dangerous, and modifying equipment can void warranties. If you follow or use anything here, including code and files, you do so at your own risk. I'm not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss that results.

Accuracy

Things change. Attractions close, products are discontinued, prices and details change, and software updates break things. Information here was right as far as I knew when I wrote it, but it may be out of date. Everything on this site is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.

This site links to, and shows content from, other websites. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for their content, products, or policies.
